New England Deaf Camp is a an adveture for Deaf and Hard of Hearing New England Deaf Camp was established 26 years ago as an opportunity for Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth and their hearing siblings to attend camp together in an American Sign Language immersion environment. Campers from all over the East coast and from as far away as England have come to New Hampshire to participate in our unique summer programming. We provide a traditional summer camp in an American Sign Language with English voice-interpreted environment, thus making all activities accessible to Deaf and hearing children alike. Our outdoor adventure camp includes offerings such as swimming, archery, sports, mountain biking, high ropes course and arts & crafts. New England Deaf Camp is located on a small lake, thus offering a variety of water sports including swimming, kayaking and canoeing. In addition, Deaf and Hard of Hearing campers are encouraged to take part and become leaders through outdoor group and team building activities. All activities are promoted in a safe and friendly environment.

We provide an on site nurse and infirmary, several certified interpreters and separated male and female campsites. Campers stay in tents with either one or two additional campers. Each tent is set up on a wooden platform and includes a cot and mattress for each child to sleep on. Counselors are located in each campsite and participate in all camp activities with the children.

New England Deaf Camp offers camp programming for children ages 9-14. Youth ages 14-17 are encouraged to apply for our Jr. C.I.T. and then C.I.T. (Counselor-in-Training) programs. Through these programs, youth are provided with educational programming (First-Aid, CPR, Lifesaving), team building and opportunities for interaction and supervised responsibility of younger campers. We encourage all Jr. CIT and CIT's to work towards personal growth and development of these skills.

New England Deaf Camp is proud of our long history of volunteerism. 100% of all donations go directly to campers. We consist of an all volunteer staff, which apart from room and board, does not receive any monetary compensation. All of our counselors have strong ASL skills and many are Deaf.
